聆聽童心故事 領略英語風采

為了彰顯我校英語辦學特色,激發學生學習英語的興趣,使學習過程輕松且愉快,近日,合肥中銳學校小學部精品班舉辦了一場英語素養大比拼活動。
In order to showcase the characteristics of our school's English education,to make the learning process enjoyable and rewarding, Hefei Zhongrui School Elite Primary School Division held yet another successful English competition. 歷時三周的比賽活動內容豐富多彩,活動包括拼寫、語法和讀故事等比賽項目,為學生搭建平臺來提高語言能力,增強他們的自信心,培養與同齡人公平競爭的意識。
The categories contested at were Spelling Bee, Grammar Race and Story Reading. The competition lasted for three weeks. Students from all grade levels participated in these contests with the purpose of providing students a fun and exciting opportunity to improve their language abilities, boosting their confidence and instilling a spirit of fair competition.
第一周
第一周,在一年級到六年級的學生中挑選優秀學生在本年級中爭奪第一。拼寫比賽考驗學生的詞匯記憶力和拼讀能力。選手要求拼讀一連串詞匯,且晉級越高,難度越高。
Selected students from Grades 1 to 6 battled for the top spot in their respective grades. Spelling bee challenged students' vocabulary and spelling skills, with competitors required to spell a selection of words with increasing difficulty as the contest progressed.
第二周
語法比賽中,所有語法題目均來自課本,難度系數分“容易”、“中等”和“難”。這場比賽刺激且具有挑戰性,整場比賽無時間限制,誰回答迅速且正確,誰就能得到分數。
Students also competed in Grammar Race. Questions were derived from their textbooks categorized as easy, average, and difficult. It was a challenging and exciting competition as there was no timer
set for each question, whoever answers quickly and correctly gets the points.
第三周
第三周開展閱讀故事比賽。所有參賽選手需要自選故事材料,用新穎獨特的形式閱讀故事,再運用語言、音調和肢體動作向觀眾闡釋故事內容。
The third week was allotted for storytelling. Participants of the contest were tasked to choose a story, read it in their own creative ways using their abilities to use language, vocalization, and physical movement and gesture to interpret the images of the story to the audience.
事實上,這些比賽的意義超越了輸贏本身。比賽對學生獲得語言學習策略起到了促進作用,旨在為學生提供機會來發掘自我、實現自我,使學生們不僅能夠獲得知識,而且能夠成為積極和充滿自信的學習者。
In essence, these contests extend beyond just winning; they are a crucial part of language learning strategy designed to provide students with opportunities to realize and unearth their most capable selves, enable them to not just acquire knowledge but also to become confident and active learners.
所有參賽選手在比賽過程中都度過了一段開心又難忘的時光。為學生們孜孜不倦的努力、積極參與和不斷超越點贊!
Overall, competitors from all grades had a fantastic time during the competition. Hats off to our students for their hard work, active participation and for giving their best foot forward to excel in each competition!

汪可凡:比賽過程中我很緊張。但當我知道獲獎后,我很自豪。這種比賽體驗真的太棒了,我還想再參加!
Dylan: I was very nervous during the competition. But when I knew that I was one of the winners, I felt proud of myself. It was an amazing experience and I want to join again!
王韻焯:此次比賽我準備得很充分。比賽前,我復習了很多英語知識。比賽很有趣,所有問題都很有挑戰性,每位參賽者都想爭奪第一。
Wendy: I prepared very well for this competition. I reviewed a lot of English knowledge prior to the competition. It was very exciting mainly because the questions were a bit challenging and everyone wanted to win the race.
周弘錦:這對我來說是一次苦樂參半的經歷。這是我在小學階段最后一次參加英語比賽了,六月份我將要小學畢業。在這次比賽中,我不僅積累了經驗,還收獲了滿滿的幸福。
Peter: It’s a bittersweet experience for me. This is my last time to take part in the English competition as I’ll be graduating from primary school this June. I must say, in this competition, I accumulated experience, but also harvested happiness.
孫憶:我真的很喜歡這場英語活動。為了在比賽中表現出色,我盡最大努力閱讀英語故事。我已經迫不及待地期待明年的英語比賽活動!
Elsa: I really enjoyed this English activity. In order to do well in the competition, I made a lot of effort to read the English story to the best of my ability. I can’t wait for next year and join the competition again!
