注:河馬英語奧林匹克競賽是全球最大規(guī)模的青少年英語奧林匹克測評賽。
一、學(xué)生簡介
萬子銘,合肥世界外國語學(xué)校小學(xué)精品班二年級A班學(xué)生,河馬英語奧林匹克青少年英語挑戰(zhàn)賽中國賽區(qū)初賽一等獎(jiǎng),復(fù)賽銀獎(jiǎng)獲得者。
Wan Ziming is a student from Class A, Grade2, Elite Primary Division of Hefei World Foreign Languge School. He bagged first prize in the preliminary round and silver prize in the second round of Hippo English Olympiad Competition.
二、獲獎(jiǎng)證書
萬子銘同學(xué)性格活潑開朗,興趣愛好廣泛,熱愛學(xué)習(xí)。這些都離不開媽媽的悉心陪伴和耐心引導(dǎo)。
Wan Ziming is a lively and cheerful student. He has a wide range of interests and loves learning. Along with his love for learning is the careful company and patient guidance he receives from his mother.
三、萬子銘媽媽的教育經(jīng)驗(yàn)分享
1.養(yǎng)成規(guī)律的作息 形成較強(qiáng)的時(shí)間觀念
從子銘很小的時(shí)候,我們就逐步規(guī)劃了放學(xué)后的時(shí)間安排。每天休息、玩耍和學(xué)習(xí)都安排在固定時(shí)間。他慢慢養(yǎng)成了遵守時(shí)間表的習(xí)慣,并一直延續(xù)至今。我在規(guī)劃時(shí)間時(shí)會和他商量,充分聽取他的意見。
2.多多鼓勵(lì)和表揚(yáng),增強(qiáng)自信
我會觀察子銘,發(fā)現(xiàn)他在某方面有進(jìn)步時(shí),我會立刻稱贊他,并告訴他具體哪里進(jìn)步,前后做個(gè)比較。他得到表揚(yáng)后很開心,下次會表現(xiàn)得更好,并且有利于增強(qiáng)自信。
1. Develop a regular schedule and a strong sense of time
From an early age up to now,we gradually plan our after-school schedule. We have a specific pattern of activities- resting, playing and studying which are all done at the same time everyday. Ziming developed the habit of keeping to his daily schedule, which continues to this day. When I plan how much time to spend on specific activities, I seek his opinion and listen fully to his thoughts.
2. Boost his confidence with encouragement and praise
I often observe Ziming, and when I find that he has made progress in some aspects, I immediately praise him and tell him where he has improved. Then compare his performance before and after he’s made progress. He is happy to receive praise, which increases his confidence and encourages him to do even better next time.
四、班主任胡老師的評語
萬子銘同學(xué),是一年級下學(xué)期來到本班。第一次見到他時(shí),幾乎不會說中文的他還有點(diǎn)害羞。通過這一年半的相處,我發(fā)現(xiàn)他是一位非常自律的同學(xué)。課堂上的他聰慧且認(rèn)真,更讓我驚喜的是,在短短的一年半時(shí)間內(nèi),他的漢語竟然進(jìn)步如此之快,這都離不開他的努力和堅(jiān)持。子銘,相信你一定會越來越棒,加油!
In the second semester of grade one, Wan Ziming came to my class. When I first met him, he was a little shy because he could hardly speak Chinese. After one and a half years, I found that he is a very disciplined student. In math class, he is always the serious and smart one. What makes me more happy is that in a short period of time, his Chinese has made such rapid progress, which is attributed to his efforts and persistence. Ziming, I believe you will be better and better, come on! Keep the candle burning!
